Global HR
Ø If we want to develop a custom BIP report or customize a standard
report in Oracle Fusion, then first we need to understand Business Flow. GHR is
the base module for HCM Cloud. It is a mandatory module
Ø In this module, we will configure the Enterprise Structure.
Ø We cannot implement any other modules, like FIN/SCM, without the
GHR module.
Ø It is the heart of all the
modules.

§ Job employees are working
§ Grade employees are working
§ Position employees are working
§ The above are all comes under Workforce Structures
Note: Once the Enterprise Structure

·
We know that
Oracle Fusion Application works on RBAC.
·
RBAC Stands
for Role-Based Access Controls.
Eg: We have developed on BIP report and are getting
the output, but
The client says that only a few users can run
and access the output. Meaning users who have a particular role can access the
report, and others cannot.
So, we should know about Roles and Security.

High-Level
of Enterprise Structures:
vEnterprise is the top-level
organization name(we call it as company name).
vWithin Enterprise, Divisions
will be defined(optional)
vNext, we will define Legal
Entity (LE)-Legal Organization or Registered Office.
Eg: If the client says he
has two companies
One for Finance
Another one for the Insurance
sector
Then we need to define two
Legal Entities.
vOnce the LE(employees are
registered) is created, it should be associated with the Legislative Data Group(Salary
paid Organization) and Ledger(Accounts are maintained in proper format).
vEvery company should have
business units, which we call branches.
vLocation, department, job, grade,
and positions are not directly assigned to BU. So, they will first assign RDS,
and then RDS will be assigned to BU.
vWithin the BU, there will be
Inventory Organizations.
vWithin the Inventory
Organizations, there will be sub-inventories, stock locations, and items.
